God’s Plan
There are several things that you NEED to know about God:
1. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16.
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10b.
2. Man is sinful and separated from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” — Romans 6:23.
3. Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin.
“But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8.
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” — II Corinthians 5:21.
4. We must receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord by our personal invitation.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” — Revelation 3:20.
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord of your life, why don’t you pray the following:
“Lord Jesus, I want to know You and to have a personal relationship with You. I want to be born again and to know in my heart that You really exist, that You really love me, are willing to forgive me for my sins and want me to live with You in Heaven for eternity. Jesus, please reveal Yourself to me. —Amen.”
